The import engine it's quite easy and very
powerful at the same time. New users can jump this help if want import
information with default settings, but the advanced can know how to take
the best from import procedure.
1) With this, engine will always open an Explorer window when import information,
so you can see if the web page is right for you.
2) If you check this, the Engine will not delete the movie information
already present in the database : for example if you have write something
on the "comments" field and you don't want lose it, you must
che this.
3) When you import information for a particular movie, it's possible that
Engine didn't found it on the web, in this case you can tell to it to
"go on" with the other movies without ask you nothing
4) With this, Engine will use the Original Title of the movie for query
the web site instead of normal title; this is useful for non-english people.
5) With Quick Import active, the engine will import the first movie it
found, without ask you nothing, and will going on to import the next one.
6) With this, engine will overwrite the
title of the movie you have entered with the original one.
7) If you check it, the engine will not
write information in the fields that already have it. it's useful if you
want import information from a new web site without delete the info already
present.
8) If you want, when the import is finish,
engine can select from the list to the right all movies not imported.
9) With this, engine will not overwrite
an existing entry in the web link field.
10) UPDATE MODE 1 : The update modes 1 & 2 can be used if you have
already import information from web. When you use a script, the engine
save all the data (script, web-site and movie id) in the movie. When you
update, it use these information from jump directly to the last web site
used for "update" the information. The mode 1 will use both
the script and the web site of the previous import session.
11) UPDATE MODE 2 : Similar to the Mode 1, with the difference that here
you can choose the Script (for example, if you have import information
the first time with an poor IMDB's script, and now you want update your
information because you have a powerful script for IMDB).
12)UPDATE MODE 3 : This is not a truly Udate mode : with this the engine
will use the WEB ID of the movie instead of TITLE, but it requires Scripts
of SECOND GENERATION. you can select if the ID for query the web site
come from the "Movie ID" or "Web ID" fields.
All these options is for both Sciprts and Chains import.
